Vice-President Mutale Nalumango has called for urgent investment in education and training to build a skilled workforce for Zambia’s burgeoning tourism industry. Speaking at a summit held at the Radisson Blu Mosi-oa-Tunya Resort, she pointed out that despite strong visitor interest Zambia’s tourism sector is constrained by a shortage of qualified hospitality professionals.
Addressing the human-capital gap is seen as critical to unlocking Zambia’s tourism-led growth potential.
