The Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in Lusaka provided a colourful platform for fashion, culture and Zambia-China friendship when it hosted a special fashion show to mark the 77th anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China.
Held on September 22, 2026, the event was co-hosted by the Chinese Embassy and Wonderful Group, bringing together fashion, cultural expression and diplomacy in a celebration that highlighted the growing relationship between Zambia and China.
The fashion show was directed and cast by Belleza Talent & Modeling Agency, with 34 models taking to the runway. The event provided an opportunity for Zambian talent to take centre stage while demonstrating how fashion can serve as a bridge between different cultures and peoples.
