A woman from Meanwood, Ndeke, has told the Chelstone Local Court that her husband repeatedly calls her a prostitute, yet continues to eat the food she prepares.
Musole Muhongo, 38, who is seeking a divorce, said her husband, 43-year-old Ngombo Sichao, has long accused her of bringing other men into their home. “He calls me a prostitute, but still eats the food I bring from this so-called ‘prostitution,’” she told Magistrate Charity Milambo.
In his defense, Sichao claimed that his wife deliberately places their seven-year-old child between them in bed to prevent him from touching her.
Musole explained that the accusations and conflicts are not new, noting that they have been ongoing for years and had even led to a temporary separation.
She argued that the constant verbal abuse and unresolved disagreements have made the marriage untenable, prompting her decision to seek a divorce.
